A lifelong guitarist, vocalist, songwriter and multi-instrumentalist, Dan was VideoHelper's first staff composer, best known for his anonymous contributions to the library.

He cut his musical teeth in NYC’s alt rock scene, back in the ‘90s, and since then, has written numerous tracks for national and regional ads, indie films and film trailers and TV promos. Dan is a fan of both rock and electronica, and his music often blends the two in unusual ways. Fiercely committed to his art, he swore in his salad days to pair each of his compositions with a tattoo and now realizes perhaps he ought to have chosen a smaller scale for his body art...

When he is not songwriting, Dan can be found writing fiction, cooking or practicing parkour in Los Angeles, where he lives with his family.
