VH AND CLIENTS GET BEATEN BY ECONOMY, HOOKERS!

August 18, 2009

Very rarely do months go as poorly as July 2009 went for us.

Although we managed to release MODULES 4 on the website on time, the production and release of the physical CD release took us more than two months to complete -- the worst VH delay on record.

During these dark times, we learned a lot about financial management, staffing choices and that if you ask a prostitute if she’s an undercover cop and she says “no,” she could be lying.   Prostitutes are not known for their honesty – even hot police ones.

But we are not the only ones facing loss and misfortune during these dark, uncertain times.  Here is just a sampling of what has happened to some of our clients:

•   Longtime VH clients Buy Buy Baby mourn the passing of NYC branch office manager Vinnie DeMarco, who died of Sudden Infant Death Syndrome (SIDS).  He was 461 months.

•  Facing deep financial woes, the San Diego Padres were forced to eat their mascot during an away game earlier this month. “Holy shit – imagine our surprise to discover that the San Diego Chicken is just a guy in a chicken suit,” lamented one player.  “He was a good friend.  A good, delicious friend.”

•  Vogue magazine has reported that ad sales have plummeted down more than 80%, reducing the page count from 560 to 41 pages.  A spokeswoman for the fashion magazine excitedly exclaimed “we’re almost down to our goal size!”

Our sympathies and best wishes to our clients, friends and undercover officer Kendra “Champagne” McCormick.
