VH NEWEST DISC MODULES 4 LEAKED TO WEB!

June 1, 2009

It has come to our attention that VideoHelper’s newest disc, MODULES 4, has been leaked to the web before its official release date one month from now.

Miraculously, the downloading frenzy has not yet begun, even though copies of the disc have been sighted on many peer-to-peer servers.  According to reports, many sites have noticed no increase in bandwidth usage as users fail to realize how cool it would be to have an early copy of this eagerly-anticipated disc.

“We are fully prepared to be outraged,” said Bill Hallberston, director of Public Relations for VideoHelper.  “Just as soon as someone – ANYONE – downloads this, unauthorized release.  We’ve contacted the RIAA and when they return our call, I guarantee they’ll be pretty peeved, too.”

The released-unreleased release features the following description:

“Ever wonder what the volcanic birth of an island sounds like?  How about being stung to death by thousands of bees?  Being crushed to death inside a doomed bathysphere?  The inside of a supercharged particle accelerator?  Be assaulted by a demonically possessed television?  Be trapped inside the cabin of a plummeting airliner?”

“MODULES 4 will answer those questions and more – with 129 new additions to the popular, innovative and  MODULES library.  The website also includes tracks that will not be found on the physical disc, including ultra-useful RISES and atmospheric TONES -- and the not-very-useful SECTION WE FORGOT TO INCLUDE ON THE WEBSITE."

"Consisting entirely of arresting sounds useful for film trailers, promos and all-Muppet snuff films, the library has pioneered the idea of Narrative Sound Design™ – compositions structured like music to immediately convey an emotion, build tension, suggest visuals and tell a story."

As of this report, there have still been no downloads.  “Now we’re just kind of insulted,” Hallberston commented.  “Next time we’re going to label the disc ‘NEW U2 ALBUM’ or something.”

The early release of the CD is also available at www.playvh.com under the MODULES collection.
