We here at VideoHelper feel that we don't have to strut and crow about our world-reaching achievements in music. When you're a huge, mega-conglomerate like us, you don¹t have to worry about telling the world how great you are. People just know.
However, until the seventeen or so people who DO know tell other people, we'll let you in on what projects we¹ve been working on lately:
OPENING VIDEO FOR THE NATIONAL ASSOCIATION OF UROLOGISTS, for their annual "Prostate of the Union" address.
GERMAN TELEVISION, SEASON ONE of "EXTREME MAKE." We thought it was a typo-ridden contract to do the German version of "Extreme Make-Over." It wasn't.
MRS MARQUAT'S SECOND GRADE CLASS, (Walnut Street Elementary, NY) non-broadcast production of "Stop, Drop and (Rock n') Roll: The Learn Not to Burn Experience."
INSTRUCTIONAL VIDEOS for both the AAA (Automobile Association of America) and the AAAAAAAS (American Association of Stuttering).
And our crowning achievement, the release of Disc 28: THE BEATDOWN, a collection of 60 beat-based tracks all over the stylistic map and is divided into three sections. The first section, ATTITUDE / AGGRESSIVE, travels from the breakbeat freakout BLACKTOP B-BALL to the angry glitchtronica of JUGULAR ASSAULT to the cold dance floor sexiness of RAVIATOR. Section two, DRAMATIC / EMOTIONAL contains the Dido-meets-Jem-in-field-of-poppies feel of Emotional Closure, and the lost-your-breath-anxiety-fest ATTACK THE PANIC; while section three, FUN / SEXY / POSITIVE holds the wonder-inducing instrument morphing of TIMELAPSE SYMPHONY, the narco-narc tune CHICO WEARS A WIRE, and the sophisticated porn stylings of DEEPER LOVE.
"The Beatdown" is the 32nd disc in the VideoHelper library and was released October 15, 2004.
